You, my readers, have spoken! I promised that www.danoconnor.com would be a reader driven web site and I am about to deliver on that commitment. Far and away, the leading request you made was to see a list of my fiction (novels & short stories) in progress.
Before I pass along the link, I’d like to take a moment to tell you what I’m providing: a. a complete list of my novels in progress; b. a synopsis of each book; c. the opening chapter, prologue or scene for each.
Whatever portions you choose to read or not, I ask that you take a moment to vote on the project that you believe is most promising and appealing to you. This will, in turn, affect my own priorities in terms of which one(s) to finish first. In my experience, reader feedback has been, not only instructive, but essential.
Please rest assured that no information is gathered about you, when you vote, only general demographic information to enable me to profile my readership for future reference. The more I know about my audience, the more I can structure my efforts to meet their interests and needs.
If you do take the time to read the excerpts, I ask that you vote on those as well. A ballot is presented at the bottom of each piece. Reader feedback is of the utmost importance in what I’m trying to accomplish.
And now, here’s the link: http://www.danoconnor.com/books/novels_in_progress.htm
If that doesn’t work, you can also get there by going from www.danoconnor.com to books, then to books-in-progress and on to novels-in-progress.
As always, any and all feedback is most appreciated. I couldn’t do it without your help!
I hope you are just putting the finishing touches on a grand summer of ’05.
Sincerely, Dan O’Connor
