........By poking around in the wrong places, she becomes the target of a conspiracy to silence her.
........When her best friend, Ephraim, is killed, she forms an alliance with Lance Williams, a Barbadian police officer. Just when the romance begins, she is forced to run to save herself.
.......In the end she is confronted with a plot to steal her freedom and self-esteem that is far more deadly than the one in Sugar.
