. . . Everything Nice is a Plantation Era novel, set in Hawaii. It traces the lives of Lili's ancestors, including her grandfather, a sugar baron, and ends with her birth in the 1960's. As Lili's father was an illegitimate son of Horace Martin, he did not have all of the advantages he might otherwise have had. Instead he spent his life in complete and utter resentment of his father, while his only brother reaped the benefits. In the end with all things in life, the scenario went full circle, such that justice and irony prevail. Prologue | 15-18 Months of primary attention. Please vote for the novel of your choice. . . . . . Mostly Hawaiian Photos, Short Stories and Poems is a work of love for the islands of Hawaii. The photos are inspired by its natural beauty and depicts those portions of the islands that particularly "spoke" to me, when I resided there. The short stories are reminiscent of the people I met in Hawaii, their events and history. The poems are an outpouring from my heart, as pure and refreshing to me, as the many waterfalls and springs, which dot the islands. Read a short story &/or read a poem and see a photo. | 45 Days of full attention. The work is complete. It need only be polished & presented.. Please vote for the fiction of your choice. . | |||||||
